My iPhone 5S worked perfectly well to begin with and there has been no upgrade to upset its workings, but now anyone who calls my number gets the message 'You have dialed an incorrect number. Please check the number and try again'.
If I phone someone else who misses the call and rings back on the same number, they hear this message, despite their having had a call from the supposedly incorrect number.
I've tried taking out the SIM card and putting it back; and rebooting the telephone. That's as far as my troubleshooting expertise goes. I would be grateful for advice.

@JulieDrew You will have to call customer services about this as it’s not a device issue that you could fix.

Thank you for responding.
I am not a very new EE customer, although I was with Orange on another phone before I smartened up. The problem has only recently become apparent. Another respondent says I need to talk to customer services (that could be you, I suppose!). We live in Oxford where there is an EE shop - would it be sensible to take the phone there? Would you expect the guys behind the counter at an EE shop to be able to crack this kind of problem?
