Does anyone know why my phone won’t let me click my WiFi on at all

My iPhone 8 Plus is not letting me click my WiFi on at ill I’ve tried resetting my network settings as that is what Apple said to do so and it is still not working. Says it could be a problem with my provider ( EE )

Hi @Bohillse44

If your WiFi icon cannot be used then that would suggest a hardware issue not a software problem.

However back up and try restoring your device via iTunes.

Thanks

WiFi has nowt to do with your mobile network provider.

Hi @Bohillse44,

Welcome to the EE Community.

What happens when you try to toggle WiFi on?

Thanks

@Bohillse44 - I assume you don't have 'Airplane Mode' selected?

Never the less you should still be able to over-ride and enable Wi-Fi

Have you tried resetting the Network Settings? (Be careful as you may loose settings by doing this)

If all else fails I'd try a software restore via USB and iTunes. Probably best to back everything up first though.
