Currently abroad and not able to use my contract

I am currently in Italy and I have a monthly contract with EE which should allow me to use my call texts and data here, however since I have arrived my phone keeps showing that there is no signal. I have already tried to reset the network setting but that did not work either. Really need it and I’m stuck without it.

Hi @Faizah,

 

Welcome back to the EE Community. 🙂

 

You shouldn't need to enter your IMEI number when enabling roaming in My EE.

 

Once logged in, just select Manage device from the menu, then you can toggle roaming and international calling on.

@Faizah  That’s vey you didn’t enable roaming on your account before leaving the UK.  

you can still do this though by login to your online EE account and manually enable roaming,  you also need to enable call abroad and premium rate numbers then restart the device.

I tried manually enabling it I was asked a few questions and then asked for my IMEI number. I then restarted my phone and it still says no service
