Apple Watch? If I buy can I link to my husbands data

If I buy my husband an Apple Watch on my EE account can he link it up to his data instead of using mine if I’m paying for it?

Oh that’s great so it won’t use my data even if it’s in my name?

The watch comes with it's own mobile number which is allocated unlimited data.

Sorry I am new to this, so if it’s got it’s own number can’t it get his calls and messages on from his own phone? He’s a sports coach and I was going to get him a Fitbit but I thought the Apple Watch might be better for him due to him being on court all the time (as I get calls and texts to my Fitbit)

Hi @Vickismuk1

Welcome to the community. Smiley Happy

If you bought an Apple Watch from EE on your account you'd pay the monthly cost.

If your husband then wanted to set up the watch with his phone, as long as he has a pay monthly iPhone 6 or above (including SE), he can select a 30 day rolling plan which includes 3 months free unlimited data and then and extra £5 per month for 10GB per month.

Thank you. I’m new to the Apple Watch lol. So won’t be work if he doesn’t buy the data?

It would work with a Bluetooth pairing, but not with the full 4G experience, @Vickismuk1.
