After registering for Apple Music, I can’t log into Apple Music

Activated free 6 months of Apple Music. Now when I try and open the app I get the wheel of death and white screen

@Booty1889   So you text MUSIC to 150 and did you use the link provided in the returned message?    

are you trying to connect over WiFi or cellular data ?

 

and have you updated the music app to the latest version?

I’ve tried both ways, wi fi and cellular...music app recognised my Apple ID then when I go to log on, endless wheel of death and white screen

@Booty1889  Try this 

 

1. Double click on the Home button

2. Swipe all the app screens upwards one by one until only the home screen is left

3. Click on the Home button

4. Press and hold the Sleep / Wake button until the screen shows "Swipe to turn off" turn off the device 

5. After 30 seconds or so, press and hold the Sleep / Wake button to restart the iPhone

Have you downloaded any other apps to see if they work for you?

 

Can you try and reset the network settings to see if this helps?

 

This will delete any saved WiFi passwords.

 

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Go to Settings > Music >Show Apple Music

Hope you don’t mind me asking but have you had this sorted? I have the exact same issue as you and have done all of the above too but even Apple seem stumped to me! I’ve tried everything!
