Ive had the exact same problem for the past 4 weeks! usually it sorts its self out, but this has been consistant!
I have also had nothing but trouble since the switchover from Orange to EE....i am seriously thinking about going elsewhere, ive been with orange since i got my first mobile aged 14 (PAYG) since the age of 18 i have always had a contract with them, im now 25! Its ridiculous service and i think another company may benefit from my loyalty as EE arent bothered at all!

I can go on any website I want, except a certain few, including dating sites and porn.
However, I was only on those sites 3 days ago... Today I get the annoying "Content Lock" page.
So, now you can't access sites that you accessed a few days before...?
Some of you can't get on FACEBOOK and YOUTUBE...
What the hell EE...you've RUINED T-mobile.
T-mobile answer machine still says "running on EE's 3G network"
But isn't EE a 4G network...?

Forgive me if I sound naiave here, EE @Ed_H (as EE rep on here), but from what I can see, having been reading through lots of different threads on here on this issue, there's been an ongoing problem and lots of dissatisfied customers going back to July of last year! In view of this and the fact that this seems to be taking you so long to resolve, why don't EE simply delete the content block from your software and leave it to individual clients who want it and/or need it to install and use their *own* parental control software? This means anyone with children can block them on a site by site basis if they so choose (and what adult parent wouldn't!) and those who are over 18 and don't need or want it, won't have this ongoing problem! As and when you have managed to fix the problem at your end, then you can consider putting it back, although to my mind it's more problematical than being worthwhile. People can use parental lock programs successfully on home computers/broadband (I use a PC at home) or on their TVs by use of a simple password protection system and so on, so it's not something new at all. You would see complaints vanish overnight if this were done and you won't loose customers!
Just my 2p worth for consideration
Nick (who has purchased the phone on behalf of a friend who is going to need YouTube, Facebook and other sites. Thankfully it's only a PAYG phone so he will be able to make his own decision soon (end of the month).

I see there was discussed the parental control issue, I can suggest a good parental control program I usually use now, it has a good interface and easy to use www.refog.com its based on keylogger technonlogy and works normally with EE

I have suffered with this recurring nightmare for nearly six months now. All I can say is EE are worse that useless and less than anyway helpful. EE are tantamount to breaking trading standards laws, as when you buy good or services by contractual means, you expect the level of service that is purchased to be provided. EE break this contract between the two parties as they do not provide that service. EE sell contracts by misleading information and do not tell you that you may or may not get the service that you purchase.
When asking to cancel my account, EE state that I must pay in excess of £600 to release me from the contract. I state that I will not pay and will cancel the direct debit. EE then threaten me, stating that my credit rating will be affected and debt collectors will be called in to pursue the outstanding payment. County court judgements etc. I have a perfect credit rating and the threat not only saddens me, it angers me to the extent that I will be lobbying for parlimentary review to bring EE to account. I am not the only one that this has happened to and it seems that this is a common problem.
Watch this space. I will not be recommending EE to anyone in the future, I will actively promoting the opposite.

Please refer to my last message posted where it states that EE have been unhelpful, and have threatened impact on credit scrore. So I state again, I have tried on number of occcasions contacting EE customer services and Tech support. Even going trying to reset throught logging in to the web portal to change the content settings. This works for while then content gets blocked again. This is not a satisfactory service and your reply is equally of no use.
