voicemail asks me to press 1 to confirm I am phone owner but doesn't play msg.

Voicemail has been working fine until 13 August.  Now when I call voicemail number, I get a message saying, 'You have one new message.  To confirm you are [my name] press 1'.  I press 1 and it just repeats, 'To confirm you are ... etc'.  So, I have messages waiting that I can't access.  Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm on a T-Mobile contract (well, I'm out of contract now ...) and I have an HTC Desire.

That definitely shouldn't be happening.

 

I recommend having a quick chat with our technical support team, they'll be able to get that working fully for you.
