@ANDY27 Have you tried a different set of headphones on the device? have you made sure there is nothing in the socket on the device? Turn the device off and use a pin to make sure there is no junk in the hole. If the headphones do not work still and your device is in warranty you could go to a EE store for them to send the device away to Somy to be looked at but it’s much quicker if you do this yourself.

thanks for your help i tried two more headphones and they still dont work and the socket is also clear of any obstuctions thanks again ANDY
