samsung s7 screen

My quite new (a month old) Samsung S7, has developed a problem with the screen. A green line has appeared on the right side of the screen, also last night half of the screen disapeared, and was replaced with a white screen, so couldnt type in password or do anything. I managed to clear it by opening the settings at the top of the phone and change a setting this seemed to reset the screen, but the green line is now a permenant feature. please help

Have you dropped the phone at any point?

 

If there is no sign of damage this would be coverd under warranty.

 

Book it in with either EE or Samsung direct.

Hi, 

 

Its either a hardware (screen/motherboard) or pixel fault. dial *#0*# and switch between the colours to see if you can make it disappear.

 

If not then you will need to take into EE for them so repair or contact Samsung and claim under your warranty if still valid.

Thank you, no it hasnt been dropped and no physical damage to the phone, was hoping I would be able to fix it without having to sent it off, thank you for replying

Thank you for your suggestion, the green line is still there when I followed your suggestion and changed the colour, thank you for taking the time to respond
