i have a Sony Experia Z5 its already been re-set and lasted for 1 day

Hi please can someone help me,

Ihave a Sony Experia Z5 it wouldnt charge the other day but was able to reset the phone.

when the battery died again it wouldnt re-charge and would not let me re-set it.

I have upgraded to an i phone 8 today.

I am desperate to retrieve my photos from my sony phone, can some one please please help me.

Hi Mark thank you for your reply it was most helpful,
Can you please confirm what type of adapter i would need for my lap top please.
Im afraid im not that clever when it comes to technology.
I have a HP Laptop.

Hi @Sharon1972

 

Have you checked your photos aren't backed up online anywhere? 

 

If your battery is dead or nearly dead then other than replacing the battery there isn't much you can do. Try keeping the phone connected via USB to your computer and moving all the pictures from your DCIM folder.

 

Photos will be stored on your memory card if you used one, take it out and use an adaptor on your PC to read.

 

Lastly you said you "reset" your device? If you factory reset then unless your photos are backed up, or on a memory card then they will be lost, as you have wiped the phone memory.
