I haven't paid my EE phone bill since April, this is 4 month late. Due to loosing phone no bank or access to my account. How do I know if my contract has been cancelled through EE? I have just paid half of the bill that is being showed but I'm pretty sure this should be more, does this mean my contract is no longer usable and cancelled?

It's probably no longer usable but won't be necessarily cancelled if you'still within min. term. The debt has probably been passed to a debt collection agency.

If the debt has been passed to a debt collection agency then the contract would have been cancelled completely.
You would also be liable for the whole length of the contract to pay .
