Close it down then restart a few times, it does eventually work.

I have been doing that constantly for 3 days now. The App says " there is a problem and it is our fault, we're trying to fix it". I've uninstalled and re-installed, no change. I've now uninstalled and will leave it there.
I've been through this with EE so often I'm giving up.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with the app.
I've had a look to see if there's been any reported issues and can't see any.
When you spoke to Tech, what did they advise?
Are you all up to date with your device software?
If not this will cause the new version of the app not to work.
