Warranty cover on upgraded handset

 Hi 

 

I recently upgraded to an s7 and seem to have discovered a fault with the headphone port am I covered by warranty as I have only had the handset just over 1 month bit haven't got insurance?

Is the port physically faulty?

 

Or could it be a software fault?

Hi

Thanks for getting back to me I suspect it's physical problem as the
headphone lead doesn't go fully into the port so I'm thinking something
might be blocking it? I had a look and cannot see anything and didn't want
to try and take the back off as I'll only damage it further knowing my luck!

I definitely wouldn't advise to try it yourself!!

 

If you have a Samsung Repair Centre near you - they'll be able to take a look for you.

 

Or give customer services a quick call to run through repair options.
