Upgrade query

If I take a new phone with my upgrade and continue whatever payments are due, can I give the phone to my wife? She's sim only on EE. Thanks.

In theory the device belongs to EE for the first 6 months but if you keep up with the payments there shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for that... I was hoping to get the new Mate 30 Pro but not if it won't support Google apps. My wife has a Pixel 2xl so I thought I'd give the upgrade to her as I have a 2nd contract which has an upgrade due in February next year. Appreciate your prompt reply, thank you👍🏻

The Mate 30 pro will support google apps.

Existing Huawei is fine.

The sanctions only effect new phones being released

I have the Mate 20 Pro which is fine but the upcoming Mate 30 Pro is covered by Trumps ban and for the time being won't support Google apps. Thanks.
