Re: S8 + call answering problem

Hi,

Are you using the network (3G/4G) or connected to VOWIFI when this happens?

Does it happen with all calls regardless of location 'at home and away from home)

Thanks

Just in addition to @Northerners questions - are you able to try your SIM in another phone?

Re: S8 + call answering problem

Hi @Mez01

If the SIM works in another phone it sounds like it's a device issue.

Try putting the phone in safe mode - following these steps:

  1. Turn the device off.
  2. Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen.
  3. When “SAMSUNG” appears on the screen, release the Power key.
  4. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
  5. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
  6. Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  7. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.

If you have no issues in safe mode - it's something on the phone that's causing the issue.

It would then be a process of elimination to figure out what it is.

Let me know how this goes.
