Anyone on here experienced the issue of Cell Standby drain in Android Oreo on the S8/S7? Quite a large thread here about it on the Samsung community https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/Smartphones-Tablets-Wearables/Cell-standby-battery-drain-Oreo-s7... But Samsung won't even recognize the issue.
Basically, Cell Standby is the biggest battery drain taking up 20/30%+ of battery life.
S8+ here and no problems. Uses about 1% per hour during the night with Bluetooth and WiFi/calling activate which is about right.
I also run the device maintenance (under settings) at least one per month to give my handset a clear out, or when i feel there is some older rogue app which hasn't closed correctly.
Seems to work for me.
