Edit, am I missing something, what is the preferred method here for posting an image.

Mine looks OK on preview, but gets removed on post.

Thanks

Re: Pictures

I use imgur then post the link.

@TiffJ any plans allowing community members to post pictures?

Re: Pictures

Links only, that's a shame.

Is there a reason?

Thanks anyway @BrendonH

Re: Pictures

@Bosshogg  It’s to stop people just posting images for the fun of it.  Whilst images can help it’s not something that’s really necessary as about 99.9% of users can explain their issues without images.

Re: Pictures

Agree, as a tool for helping with issues it's only useful occasionally.

And needs moderation. Or even better, common sense.

But can't it be the share part of Ask, Answer, Learn, Share.

And, dare I say it, even just for fun and betterment of the community.

Re: Pictures

@Bosshogg  Unfortunately the community managers don’t see it that way but see it as a means of users abusing the system.  They don’t want users just slapping images all over the forum for the run of it and it will be a case of the minority spoiling it for the majority.

Its only been a couple of years that the STARS of the forum have had this ability.

Let's get started
