Note 10 plus price drop

My Note 10 plus 5g was delivered 5 weeks ago today, after pre ordering.

 

This week I noticed the price has dropped, and they have doubled the data on the plan I ordered. On top of that, as of 10th, they are now giving away free Galaxy Buds.

 

Thoroughly fed up with EE. You think you've got a great deal then they offer something better to new customers. What is the point of preordering?

 

Still, I may yet return it under the Sale of Goods Act, as there is an important known fault in the 5g model, and it should never have been released.

 

Anyone else with issues?

Load of rubbish about a "known" fault.

 

You pre-ordered a brand new phone before release date you agreed to pay what the price is then, if they reduce the price weeks later that is up to EE but this doesn't mean you are entitled to receive the same benefit. 

 

You are past the 14 days and there isn't a fault with these devices.

Yes, there is a fault with the 5g devices. It is in the hands of the Technical Department. If you had any sense, you would ask what it is before insinuating I am lying.

Sale of goods act was replaced by the Consumer Rights Act, and pretty sure after first 30 days you can only request repair or replace.

Out of interest what is this known fault I have just ordered this device today cheers 

also not to rub it in how do you order the free buds cheers

There isn't a fault I've tried googling it myself.

 

He's just trying to get what he's not entitled to.

 

You claim the buds from the Samsung Members app.

Unfortunately, the so-called expert above does not have all the answers. If he had any sense, he would ask me what the issue is, instead of being so smug.

 

Google does not have all the answers either.

 

This issue is being worked on by Samsung at the moment. Whether it's a UK only problem I don't know.
