Got a new phone: Galaxy a40.
When I try to log in to the Facebook app again, it tries to send me an activation/verification code via my text messages. This isn't arriving.
Is this a facebook problem or a phone problem?
Reported it on facebook but the site it sends me to is a dead end, and claims it's no longer active.

Have you ported over your number from another carrier?
Are you connected to WiFi calling?

Yes, number was transferred from my old Samsung, also with EE.
I'm connected to wifi but don't know what wifi calling is.
Just tried logging in and receiving verification code again with wifi turned off but still nothing.
My partner texted me to test that the number still works and comes through on my new phone and it does.
