My Samsung Galaxy s6 loses battery

My Samsung Galaxy S6 about 18m old loses battery, now having to charge 3 or 4 times a day after little use.  I tend not to use it when I am in the office because I can use the laptop instead but it is still losing battery.  Upgrade not available until June!

Have you tried backing up and then factory resetting to rule out any corrupt service or app.
