I've had the xperia x 32 for about 5 months, and it's been fine, until recently, when I started losing volume on all functions.
Any ideas, or can someone please tell me the correct engineer code? I think it might always have been a bit too quiet but it's definitely getting worse.

Does the volume turn itself down automatically or are you posting about the default volume level?
What engineer code do you want?

If you press and hold on the volume icon it takes you into the sound profile, from there you can click on volume and change your settings for different functions. Check there first.

Hi @Jezjukes and welcome to the community.
Hopefully one of the below codes can help 🙂
*#*#4636#*#* Service menu (Service Info, Service Settings, Service Tests, Customization Settings)
*#*#7378423#*#* Testing menu (Phone Information, Battery Information, Usage Statistics, Wi-Fi Information)
Let me know how you get on.

My xperia x has always had low volume throughout.
But it was usable, the volume seems to have decreased further.
I asked for help on here, but although the replies tried to be helpful, I was unable to remedy the problem.
The help I was given, were 2 codes, unfortunately neither allowed me to alter the main settings.
Does anyone else know of any codes, capable of letting me increase the volume.
Thank you for your time.
Cheers Jez 👍🏻

Further to your last thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Android/Losing-volume-on-xperia-x-32-any-ideas-or-engineer-code/m-p/58...
You should post this on the Sony mobile forums as they will likely be able to offer more help.
Or look in the apps store for an app which might help.
