Is it possible to overcharge a new handset (Samsung s7)?

My new phone crashed after it's 2nd charge. Black screen with only red light top left corner, can't turn on. Had to do soft reset (volume down and on switch together) after speaking to EE

Has this happened to anyone else. I reckon it's faulty handset, ee say overcharged??

Thanks

Re: Is it possible to overcharge a new handset (Samsung s7)?

Hi,

It's only possible to overcharge if the handset is faulty. The battery/phone tech stop it so when it hits 100% it stops charging.

If it keeps doing it then get back in touch.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.
