My charger port melted last night. Now I can’t charge my phone and I want a free 2 month early upgrade on a very good deal. I’ve been with EE for a long time now. And so would like some form of customer retention attention on this one or I’m planning to leave.

You will need to speak to CS/Sales about upgradings, but you can normally do this via EE or a third party company such as Carphone warehouse.
