I have been waiting over 24hr for my phone to be activated what should I do next

I would contact EE and see what the hold up has been. But if you bought yesterday I wouldn't count weekend as a day so might work by morning.

Was the phone a new connection?

 

An Upgrade?

 

Or

 

Have you came across from another network?

 

@BrendonH is spot on, I would just like to also point you to have a look at our How to activate your new EE SIM Card post as well to see if you can get some support there.

 

It sounds a little obvious, but have you tried switching the phone off and on again to see if that gives it a prod to start?
