I am unable to verify my email address, i have only just registered!

I am new to EE, and had only registered, it asked me to verify my email address, and it didnt work so it got me to resend the verification email, then it just didnt seem to be working, i clicked on the link and it gave me a error screen asking me to resend again which restarts the whole process. It will be much appreciated if you can get back to me asap with help!
