When will ee carry out the upgrade to the huawei P9 to android 7. I have spoken to Huawei and they have said that they have sent the upgrade to EE and they have to roll it out.

@johnboy22 If EE do have it they will push it out when there happy that it will cause no issues.

looks like EE will only push out the update when enough people complain .
I am thinking of taking my P9 back to EE for a FULL refund as it is NOT of merchantable quality due to the number of serious bugs in the current EE firmware make the phone not fit for purpose.
I would advise any P9 users to do the same

@sunman Your contract has nothing to do with any updates for your device.

I said nothing about my contract , it is the device that is in question
if the device has serious faults and a firmware fix is available from the Manufacturer ( released in Nov 2016 ) and the provider fails / refuses to release said fix, then the device becomes "not of merchantable quality / not fit for purpose " and you can therfore return it for refund .
BTW Vodaphone / O2 have released the same firmware in march and April .......
if EE can provide a timescale of release of the fix then this can mitigate the above , if said timetable is timely
