Help to back-up my S8!!! Receive replacement tomorrow, what/how do I back-up?

Hi I have a Galaxy S8 but am receiving a replacement tomorrow through insurance, have been told to back-up my old phone before removing the SIM card and returning it but don’t know how. I don’t have a lap-top but do have an iPad.  I am totally un IT literate so any help would be gratefully received, thank you xxx

Settings - accounts and back up. You can backup to your Google account or your Samsung account (if you have set one up) or both. 

 

Also make sure any photos are saved onto your memory card (if you have one, or are backed up to Google/Samsung) and you have removed it.
