Foreign phone use

Hi Iam in kos, Greece when I landed I could send texts and make calls fine within an hour I could not anymore I haven't altered any settings help would be much appreciated many thanks, sam

If everything worked initially it definitely sounds like roaming is all set up.

 

Have you tried doing a manual network selection in settings?

Hi thankyou for your reply yes I have tried that but with no luck it cannot find any other networks it just stays on the loading page

It could be a problem with the local network coverage.

 

Has anyone travelling with you been able to pick up a signal?

 

Have you tried restarting your phone?

It's strange that it worked when you first arrived - what phone are you using?

Hi Iam a ee customer on a samsung s7 apparently this is quite common but I can't find out how to fix it?

We do get a few posts from customers who haven't set up Roaming before they travelled, but roaming must have been set up for yours to work initially.

 

Does your phone show a signal?

 

If you try and make a call what happens?

Yes my phone does show a signal and when I try to make a call it says 'the number you are trying to call is not accessible from your mobile phone'

Can you receive calls ok?

 

If so it sounds like the international bar is still active.

 

If you're a personal EE customer there's a link for live chat - under EE on the get in touch page.

 

They'll be able to check your account.
