Do you offer a SIM-only for use in a MiFi device that can be used in the US

Hi,

Am getting quite confused!  I have a MiFi device I want to use in the USA, and I want to know if I can use a SIM from the UK in it.  I only want it for short-term use, probably a couple of trips a year for about 10-14 days.  I was told on the phone about the Travel Pass that could be used in the US, but I don't think that's applicable to SIM-only.  Can anyone clarify this for me?  Thank you very much.

Hi @Tamsin1 and welcome to the community.

Please see our guide on USA Roaming costs.

Pay as you go and SIM only are two separate entities.

Many thanks,

Lee

@Tamsin1  You can use a PAYG sim but you’ll need to purchase data to use in the US.  If your looking at a sim only contract you can use the GO further add on but it’s a minimum purchase of 6 months at a time and it’s £60.

Hello and thank you for your quick response,

Just to clarify, when you refer to PAYG sim and sim only, are they two different things? I don't want a min purchase of 6 months but it sounds like an option to use a PAYG and just purchase data to use in the US.  Where do I check prices for that?

Thhanks again.
