Charged for replacement sim?

Any ideas why I have been charged for a replacement sim that was faulty?

I would have thought that it would be sent free of charge!

Thanks

Hi there @cwmparc1

Thanks for coming back to the community.

If you visit an EE store for a replacement SIM, this is free of charge.

You can give our Mobile Care team a call and they will be able to look into the charge for you 🙂

Re: Charged for replacement sim?

How did you order the SIM? If you ordered by phone or online form there is a charge of £1,50.

Re: Charged for replacement sim?

Thanks for your replies.

I think it is a bad show that EE charge you for a replacement sim card when the other one is faulty.

It was sent by a customer rep after I phoned to report the fault and nothing was said about a charge.

To visit an EE store, would have entailed travelling on a 50 mile round trip.
