Cannot leave anyone a voicemail; call gets dropped as soon as voicemail kicks in

Everytime I call someone and they don't answer, as soon as their voicemail is about to kick in (I dont' even get to hear their message) my phone drops the call.  I updated my phone in October from a Nokia Microsoft phone to a Nokia Android phone.  It worked fine at first but has stopped working in the last month.  I have read other posts about changing settings etc but none of this has worked for me.

Any suggestions on how this can be resolved?  Thanks

Hi @Karen-M and welcome to the community.

This does sound very strange indeed.

Have you spoken to the technical team to look into this for you.

Is it happening to any particular network?

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: Cannot leave anyone a voicemail; call gets dropped as soon as voicemail kick

Hi Lee

I've not spoken to the technical team.  It happens on all numbers in my phonebook/contacts regardless of network.  It gets a bit alarming as the call just drops and I am not always sure it has truly disconnected; it just goes back to the home screen, there is not even any notification that it has dropped.

Regards

Karen

Hello @Karen-M

Thanks for coming back to us.

Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if this happens?

Let us know if you can and how you get on.

Thanks. Leanne 🙂

Good morning @Karen-M

Thanks for getting back to @Leanne_T

It may be that you need to try a replacement SIM card.

Please give the team a call and they can help to get one sent out.

Thanks

Richard
