I have activated my bt sport id over 24 hours ago but when trying to log into bt sport through the app it says its not activated any ideas/suggestions

Hello @GraemeKinghorn you will need to contact BT for BT ID support, we can only help with activating the free EE subscription side.
Did you definitely set up your BT ID by only following the instructions EE gave to you? If you signed up for a BT ID any other way it will not work:
If you don't have a BT ID yet, you'll need to complete the registration journey using the link provided by EE. Don't try to create a BT ID using any other link or page on BT.com, as this won't work. If you didn't get an email from EE after taking out your subscription for BT Sport, please contact EE directly on 07953 966 250.
