Bluetooth issues after Nougat update on Samsung S7

I can't connect to my Bluetooth speaker after the nougat update.  I tried wiping the cache in thingy mode but to no avail.   Does anyone have any suggestions?   Thanks in advanced

You could try testing the device in safe mode first.

 

If it works in safe mode you'll need to factory reset the phone.
