BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen

Not sure if this is in the correct Forum. Sorry if not.

My daughter has a monthly plan with EE through my account.

I want to add to her phone

BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen.

Does this mean that I could use it on my phone even though my phone is not with EE? I pay for my duaghter and my wife on EE. So the account is with me.

Also what does large screen actually mean? Does it mean you can log onto BT sport on your TV?

Thanks for any help.

Re: BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen

Hi Jon
Just thought I would update.

I have a Samsung UHD Smart TV. I was able to download the BT App and now I can see BT Sport on my TV.

I tried putting the BT App on my other mobile (not with EE) and low and behold I can get BT Sport on it.

I then put the app on  my tablet and yes, I can watch BT Sport on it.

Excellent result

Re: BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen

Hi @Les.

Large screen access means you can cast to your TV using a Chromecast or Apple TV, or use the app on a console.

The Large Screen Access Help Page may explain this a bit better.

You wouldn't be able to use it on another phone with another network SIM card.

Re: BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen

Hi Katie
It might be worth pinning a help post concerning BT Sport.
It should show clearly what and how you can use the BT App in relation to BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen.
For example the TV's that will allow an the app to work, as this saves having to cast to the TV.
It should also make clear that the BT ID is not specific to the phone it was taken out on, but other phones within the houshold can also use it, making it clear that a telphone number is only necessary for the ordering of BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen.

That would help many people who might well take the plunge, but are not clear about it all.
Just a thought.

BT is grossly overpriced, but BT Sport on multiple devices and on the large screen is well worth it at £15 a month.
