Anyone that calls me are unable to leave a voicemail message .

If I press and hold 1 on my keypad I am given a message saying that I need to contact customer services because voicemail is not activated on my account .

I have called them and I was told I need to send a txt message to 150 with the following VM ON.

Between VM ON I have to leave a space I have done this several times and on all occasions I receive a txt saying we couldn't recognise the response.

Any help would be appreciated.

@teeceew text "VM on" to 150. And tell me what you then get back?

Anyway, after that go to option 3 after calling up your Voicemail on +44 7953 222222. You can check or adjust your VM Settings there. You can also access VM on 222 or 2222.

Re: Anyone that calls me are unable to leave a voicemail message .

Thanks for responding , I have found something from a previous post saying that voicemail diverts are not activated a txt stating voicemail divert has to sent to 150 which seems to have solved the issue .

Why I was told by ee support to send VM ON to 150 god only knows .

Thanks again

@teeceew Yes, that is an oddity. And there are so many such oddities that go against simple logic.

@teeceew   VM ON sometimes doesn’t work ( it works for me ). but texting VOICEMAIL DIVERT to 150 also works.   To turn off voicemail you can use VM OFF or VOICEMAIL DIVERT OFF to 150.
