Annoying Octopus

Right,

I hate spurious programs which seem to want to take over your device. I think this is called Joy launcher and I want rid. I can't seem to find an uninstall option and even if I force stop the program, the annoying little bubble blower keeps hanging around (literally, it hangs from the top of the screen on a string, something which Octopus' don't do).

Help me ObiWan, you're my only hope !!

Re: Annoying Octopus

Hi @GordonWalker and welcome back to the community.

Please head over to the app using mobile (link below)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tct.launcher

If this is the app in question, you should either see a uninstall or open icon (see below example)

Let me know how you get on.

Many thanks,

Lee

Re: Annoying Octopus

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the info. I can see the Google screen and it says it's installed, no option to uninstall and it also says it's imcomaptible with my device, an Alcatel Pixi 4(5).

However, the Octopus has disappeared (for now). I wonder if it knows I'm coming after it and is hiding ?

I just hit the install button and it seems the link you provided is the OneTouch launcher which I do use. I'm going to wait on the Octopus reappearing and investigate further.
