Roam further "selected 12 month SIM"

In the terms and conditions page for Roam Further it says that it is A"to new and existing Consumer and Small Business Customers on a Pay Monthly Plan or selected 12 month SIM only phone plans."

 

What are the selected 12 month SIM plans? As this is mentioned nowhere when purchasing a 12 month SIM only plan.

You can add Roam Further to any 12 month SIM plan that doesn't already include roaming in the included countries.

Hi,

 

”Roam further” is a 30-day rolling add-on which can be added to a Pay monthly/SIM Only contract for an additional £10 month.

Yes I know this. But in the terms and conditions for this it states "selected 12 month SIM" plans.

 

Doesn't state which plans.

Hi there @Jimbob1231

 

Welcome back to the community 🙂

 

The Roam Further Pass is a 30-day rolling add-on so once added it will stay on your account, with the cost added to your monthly mobile bill, until you remove it.

 

You can add the Roam Further Pass to your account for one month, remove it the following month and then re-add the month after.

Roam further pass SIM only

Hi,

 

I've got a 12 month small business SIM only plan and would like to add a "Roam further pass" but it doesn't seem to be available.

 

According to the terms and conditions, it says "Available to new and existing Consumer and Small Business Customers on a Pay Monthly Plan or selected 12 month SIM only phone plans"

 

So can anyone tell me which are the "Selected" 12 month SIM only plans are?

Are you getting an error message back when you text ROAM FURTHER to 150?

 

The pass is available to any 12 month SIM only plan that doesn't already include roaming with the countries in the pass.

Hi Alex, thanks for the quick reply.

 

I haven't tried texting ROAM FURTHER yet as I don't need it until the end of September.

 

I did however go into the app on my phone (and my account on the website) to see if it was available as an Add-on but it's not listed.

 

Should I be able add it through the website, or is it a text only thing?

Hi @OrdTechnology

 

It wont show on your My EE account unless you had the options on a pay monthly plan to add it as a Swappable benefit.

 

The text service will add it to your account for you. Once you are back in the UK, if you text STOP ROAM FURTHER to 150 it will remove the bundle from your account.

 

Don't forget to have a look around on our Roaming Board before you go to make sure your account and phone are ready to use abroad.

Help! I've texted "ROAM FURTHER" to 150 as instructed, but all I get back is an automated text from 150 saying "150 is a free service in the UK and EU..." and details of different commands I can use.

Roam Further text not working

Help! I texted "ROAM FURTHER" to 150 this morning as instructed on a previous thread, but all I get back is an automated text from 150 saying "150 is a free service in the UK and EU..." and details of different commands I can use.

 

I've just tried again and get the same response.

 

I posted this as a reply to my original message earlier but can't see it in the forums so apologies if this is a duplicate.
