Data expiry

Why when I pay £20 for a 10GB add-on that should expire in 30 days EE steals the paid-for data once your next allowance of data comes through? That's not fair. Why should I only have a day or two to use the same data I paid for as anyone else?!

Then they say in the screen as if it's a given 'Time Ran Out' to justify the theft. It's not right! Why do they do this?? It's my data, I paid for it!!! I want it recredited!

The 10 GB data add-on is only till your regular allowance renews:

          1 week (1GB)             £6.99 }             One-off
          End of bill cycle (10GB) £19.99}

Re: Data expiry

Why should that be? That's just not fair at all. If you pay for 10GB what
difference does it make that your monthly allowance comes on? You still
need extra data that's why you bought it so why does it disappear?! It's
theft.

Re: Data expiry

Fair or not, that's the basis that EE sells it! You accept their T&Cs when you buy it.

Re: Data expiry

I'm sure that's illegal.

I'll be getting OfCom to investigate this.

Re: Data expiry

Hi @bestfootie1

As @XRaySpeX advised each bundle does have an expiry and it's clear in the T&C's.

Thanks - Karen. Smiley Happy
