It may just be me, but I'm finding it very difficult to find out how to easily cancel my phone contract now that the 24 months will be over at the end of May/beginning of June. There doesn't seem to be a way of doing so by phone or text, and I can find nothing relevant when I do a search for the words "cancel contract".
However, I have finally found an address in Sunderland, to which I have sent a letter. Is this the correct way to do it, and how will I know that the letter has arrived in good time and will be acted upon? I should have sent it recorded or signed-for but don't see why I should have to pay extra for the privilige of cancelling a contract, especially as it seems so difficult to do so.
Could someone please let me know that I have done the right thing, or let me know what I should be doing instead. Could I also have a link to where I can find the relevant information for all this on the website.
