5g sim5g sim

Hello.

A few days ago I bought 5 g sim from EE.

Separately a few weeks ago I bought a huawei 5g cpe pro from amazon.uk.

Initially, I used three sims but only 4g.

After I install 5g sim on huawai 5g router I have a 4g / 5g signal, internet works fine but I don't have access to websites like now tv, steam, g.o.g, uplay .

On phone 4g or router 4g EE 5G sim working without problem.

I call to ee support the say I need 5g router from EE ,but they dont selling 5g router with unlimited data or just roter for 30 days ..and sin it's ok.

I call to huawai  and they say huawai 5g cpe pro working fine becouse on other three 4g sim working fine. They say I have problem with my pc.

So anyone have problem like this or can help me with this?

Re: 5g sim5g sim

Hi @Wojtek2,

No, we wouldn't stop you from using your own router or block access to these apps on your PC.

Do you have the same problem accessing the apps on other devices connected to your router?

Thanks

Re: 5g sim5g sim

OK @Wojtek2, as your phone connects fine, it indicates that there is a problem with the way those particular devices are communicating with your new router.

I would recommend reaching out to Huawei support again to see if they can help.

Thanks

James

Re: 5g sim5g sim

Hello.

I check again how router connecting with mobile internet. Orginal EE internet was set to connect on  IP type IPv4 & IPv6 . I change for IPv4 and right now everything  working fine . I need to test this 1 or 2 days before I decide what to do  I mean  send router back or keep it.

Any suggestion whether this should be the case or a problem with my pc?

Re: 5g sim5g sim

Hello.

Everything working fine right now.

Every mobile provider sends settings to the phone and you don't have think about it , it just work. On router it does not work.

I have one more question , any one know what should be the appropriate  MTU for EE LTE.

For LTE should be 1400 or 1428 but when I check on xbox one internet speed & statistics

shows MTU 1352 .
