5G Masts Location - Trial

Hi all,

  1. Is there anyway apart from contacting customer care to see in a map 5G enabled masts? I am interested in LS98DX - Leeds.
  2. What is the best way to have a trial (one month contract for example) of the EE 5G network?

Thanks,

Ioannis

Re: 5G Masts Location - Trial

I didnt suggest a PAYG sim

I told you to get a 30 day sim only sim which does include 5G access.

Get a sim only 5G tariff for 30 days to test it out but you'll need your own 5G enabled phone.

Pay as You Go SIMs they don't include access to 5G.

I will need to go down the root of ordering a 12-month sim online and then request to break the contract within 14 days from the delivery.

Re: 5G Masts Location - Trial

No...

Not a cat in hell's chance

.

EE have historically been very reluctant to publish their exact mast locations even going back to the 3G days when they thought publishing this data would give the competition a bit of a edge. So they stopped it and the OFCOM Mast location website was shut down as a result.

Now there's idiots seeking to burn down masts ESPECIALLY 5G enabled ones there's more chance of me getting a gold SIM from Marc Allera than EE publishing the whereabouts of their 5G sites.

Re: 5G Masts Location - Trial

I have an app on my phone which shows me the nearest EE masts - there's a mast about 1k from my house so signals to my 4G Router are very strong.  An EE postcode coverage search will tell you if 5G is in your area (still only 4G where I am).
