connecting to EE Wifi Autonet on TFL.

Hey, hope someone has the answer to this

When I try to connect to WIFI on TFL I select EE Wifi Autonet and then have drop down menus for the following:

EAP Method
Phone 2 Authentication
Name
Idenitity
Anonymous Identity
Password

Does anyone have any clue as to what I should be entereing on these lines to get online?

Many thanks

Richard

Hi @richardw9.

Welcome to the EE Community 🙂

Here is a list of steps to get you connected to the WiFi:

  1. When in a WiFi location, turn on your WiFi
  2. Select EE WiFi-Auto from the list of networks
  3. Set the access method to EAP
  4. Set your EAP method to SIM

Have a look at our London Underground WiFi Help Page for all of the setup information.

Let us know if you manage to get set up or if you need any further help 🙂

Re: connecting to EE Wifi Autonet on TFL.

thanks Jon,

these settings are straight forward, it's the other drop downs that are causing difficulty:

Name
Identity
Anonymous Identity

Password

I can't get the "CONNECT" button to work. Tried all sorts of combinations.

EE Tech Support sent me a text to update my phone settings yesterday after which I cycled power on my phone. But going home on TFL last night had the same problem trying to connect

Re: connecting to EE Wifi Autonet on TFL.

Thanks @richardw9.

You shouldn't need to fill in those sections, by selecting EE WiFi Auto it should automatically connect you.

Could you try forgetting the network in your WiFi settings then trying again?
