Why has nothing been done about my overcharged bill as promised?

This March 2017, my bill doubled in cost. Despite promises this matter would be sorted out, nothing has happened to date, so what next?

I have chased them up, dealing with [XXXX.XXXXXXX @ee.co.uk.com, mod edit: please don't post personal details in a publim forum] who's last
comment was 'this matter will be sorted within 24 hours' That was a month
ago, and I have just paid a further bill, no change! My e-mail to him
yesterday has had, as , no reply.

Sorry about the e-mail address having just joined this community today and
no read all the small type in the rules.
I wish I knew why it has doubled, from £17 approx. to £33-82 per month,
there is nothing on my contract stating this, and ee don't seem to know
either. Thjey do keep taking the money however.

Until they find the reason why they will take the money as this may have been done by yourself.

 

EE do price increase during their contract in March time but not by that much. They go by the current RPI increase.

 

Are you using up all your allowances?

The person that has been helping you, have you had email contact further from them?

 

Have you checked your junk/spam email folders?

 

It could be that they are on annual leave today and haven't had a chance to pick up the mail yet.

 

If you could perhaps give us call please and one of advisers can access your account to try and let you know what is happening.

Further to your reply, I have done nothing to raise the price, it was
initiated by them. Secondly, as I am often out of the area/country, I do
not always use the full 16mb data allowance, but this situation is no
different from before e my contract change.

So when you are out of the country are you out every month or...?

 

Where do you go? EU or outside EU?

No, not every month and EU usually and on odd occasions out of the EU. I *do
not* use the device when away, I use local wi-fi at hotels or available
places.

You can say that but some devices will use a mixture of both is that setting is enabled to help with stability.
