Osprey 2 mini trying to use for first time but cant get past red 4g light

help please!

we have never used this as we tried and failed last year and thought we had better try again. i have charged and reset 10 times. nothing works. we have good 4g signal in our area. our phones run off it and we have an ee home mobile broadband box as there is no superfast. we are loyal ee customers! this osprey 2 mini does not seem up to scratch - i have read other similar reviews but no solution that works. Thanks in advance for help.

@lilliput: Is the Osprey on contract or PAYG? If PAYG & you haven't you used it for over 9 months the SIM would have been deactivated & you will need a new SIM & plan for the Osprey to work.

 

If you have the EE Home Router, why do you need the Osprey? They are the same thing but the EE Home Router is better.
