Hi I've removed the content lock 3 times now and it keeps coming back. It takes a few hours to reset too. I seem to have spent a fair bit of money on a kiddies device.

Does the router have a PAYG or contract SIM?

You could still be on PAYG even if you are paying monthly by DD. It depends on whether you can chose to stop paying at anytime w/out giving notice to EE.
The EE router does SMS. Login to it at http://192.168.1.1 and find the SMS section.

Ok in the end customer service resolved this. I had been turning my phone off after resetting myself, but turning the router on and off was probably what worked. Thanks everyone
