Re: Charged for whattsapp when using Wi-fi

I’ve BOT got data plan as I’m roaming.

I shall take this up on my return.

From my experience EE have been good and always sorted matter one way or the other.

That’s why I’ve stuck with them.

Thanks

Hi @Hiteshp17

You haven't used WhatsApp over wifi, if you were charged. It's that simple.

Thanks

@Northerner I'm a little confused to how any charges would come from whats app. I use it daily and haven't had a single charge when off wifi

Re: Charged for whattsapp when using Wi-fi

Hi @Hiteshp17 and welcome to the community.

This is indeed very strange as you would only be charged if they went via MMS.

Whats-app would not incur any charges except using your data allowance.

Many thanks,

Lee
