ALCATEL L800 USB STICK driver need uninstalled and reinstalled after reboot

I've found that the laptop I'm using the ALCATEL L800 USB STICK on needs the driver to be uninstalled and then reinstalled after a reboot. It's running windows 8.1. I've looked all over Google for a newer driver but couldn't find one. Does anyone know where's to find a better driver than the one that comes with the device?

Why do you need a new driver? Doesn't it work on Win 8.1?

It works until you restart. I guess it's not hard to uninstall and reinstall but I think a new driver would fix it
