EE do sell the 4GEE Home Router which has an optional aerial service but it is only mains powered.
Have you checked the Network Status Checker there & logged the problem?

yes called them and they said an antenna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
when you say mains powered do you mean plugged into the mains or do you mean aerial connection , as the router is already mains powered and doesn't have to be mobile use as i am happy for it to stay static.

With this router you would be able fix an antenna.
It's mains powered, not mobile like the yellow one. If you have a static site caravan, then this maybe a better option than the yellow one.

I meant the 4GEE Home Router is itself mains powered. It has no internal battery like the one you've got.

No, it's just like yours in that it gets its signal over the mobile network.
