4GEE sleeping every 24 hours

Hello all,

Can anyone help me...

Every evening between 7pm and 8pm our 4GEE router will go into 'sleep' mode. We have to switch it off and then on again.

It's current firmware is 24 and I'm unaware if there's a new one for the box.

Has this just started happening?

 

Are you connected to the WiFi device when it goes into sleep mode?

 

If so, do you get disconnected?

Thanks for getting in contact. 

 

The router has been doing this since we got it. Although it is now ramping up and for the last 10 to 14 days I have to go upstairs and switch it off and on again for it to be used/connected.

 

We are connected at the time and often watching Internet TV - so it's in use when it just stops working. All the lights are lit up on the router as they should be  (WiFi light is on) but no connection

Thanks for coming back to me.

 

I would suggest giving our Tech Gurus a call on 150 or 0800 079 8586, they will be able to help you with the WiFi device disconnecting and going into sleep mode more often.
