4GEE WiFi Mini

My new 4GEE WiFi Mini takes 4 hours to charge then only lasts about 6 hours.  Could this be a faulty battery?  Should I take it back to Curry's where I bought the unit?  Appreciate any advice.  Thanks.

Re: 4GEE WiFi Mini

Hello @Bushbaby7 mine takes around the same to charge from flat to full (around 4-6hrs) and depending on how heavy my usage is at the time I can get anything from 3-12hrs out of a full charge. 🙂

Re: 4GEE WiFi Mini

Thanks James B. This is my third attempt to reply.
I'm quite disappointed with 4GEE WiFi Mini given the fact that I'm hardly
online and when I need to work on my laptop, 4GEE WiFi Mini is depleted and
needs charging again, forcing me to use my mobile data through another
service provider. I'm paying £22 a month with EE but not using it's
service which is very frustrating.
Are there other EE products which would provide longer usage hours please,
as 4GEE WiFi Mini doesn't work for me?

Re: 4GEE WiFi Mini

Hello @Bushbaby7 you can keep it on charge when using it and it should stay on just keep it cool and unplug it if/when it starts getting hot to avoid any premature wear to the battery.

The standard 4GEE WiFi has a notably longer battery life:

They are the only two battery operated MBB devices available direct from EE. 🙂

Re: 4GEE WiFi Mini

Hi @Bushbaby7,

Are you turning the device off when not in use?

This will conserve battery life for when you need it.

Thanks
